3. Is waxing painful?

  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Try to avoid sun exposure or tanning beds for at least 24 hours before your waxing session.
  • Hair Length: Ensure your hair is long enough for waxing (about 1/4 inch or the length of a grain of rice).
  • Avoid Heavy Moisturizers: Don’t apply heavy lotions or oils on the day of your appointment, as it may affect the wax's adherence.

6. What aftercare is required following waxing?

To maintain smooth, healthy skin after your waxing appointment:

  • Avoid Heat: Refrain from hot showers, saunas, and exercise for 24 hours to avoid irritation.
  • No Scratching: Avoid scratching or touching the waxed area to prevent infection.
  • Moisturize: Keep your skin moisturized to soothe and hydrate it.
  • Exfoliate Gently: After 48 hours, exfoliate regularly to prevent ingrown hairs.

7. Can I wax during my menstrual cycle?

Yes, you can get waxed during your period, but it can be more sensitive. If you choose to book an appointment during your cycle, we recommend wearing a tampon or menstrual cup for comfort.


8. What should I do if I have sensitive skin?

If you have sensitive skin, please inform our therapist before your appointment. We offer gentle wax formulas specifically designed for sensitive skin to ensure a more comfortable and effective treatment.


9. How often should I wax?

To maintain smooth skin, we recommend waxing every 3-4 weeks. Your hair growth cycle will also determine the best frequency for you. Regular waxing helps to reduce hair growth and results in smoother skin over time.
